Restaurant Viva Zapata Grill is an endless experience of the flavors and colors of Mexico. Run and owned by a local Holboxeﾃｱo, Chef Rosendo ﾃ」ila aims to please the most demanding palate, taking care to attend to every detail without losing the authentic Mexican touch.
Entering restaurant Viva Zapata, you will be received by an enormous painted mural, dipicting historical figures from the Mexican Revolution.
The largest bar on the island is open for service at 10:00 hrs, along with lunch and dinner service.

This was the best restaurant we went to in Holbox. The food was delicious and the fish was fresh. We were a party of 10 and the service was wonderful. We will return when we go back to Holbox next year. The beer was very cold!

The food is simply prepared and fresh. Drinks arrived quickly and were not watered down like some places.

This is very good restaurant. I know we ate here twice, but maybe three times. A good selection of menu items. I ordered fish and shrimp dishes. The food was good and fresh. The service was great. They also take credit cards.
